A short crime action thriller called "Routine Stop" is holding auditions Wednesday March, 19 2014 at 7:30 pm at the Point Park University Center. This crime action thriller is a great addition to anyone’s reel. Filming will take place the weekend of March 28. Logline: A man with something to hide encounters a no bullshit cop with a disregard for procedure during a routine traffic stop. With no intention of getting arrested, will he be able to get out of this encounter or will the cop discover the gruesome truth? The characters are below. Officer Murphy: A cop in his early 30’s who is notorious for overstepping his rights as an officer. He exercises complete authority during his stops. While he is usually respectful, if he senses something wrong, he will do what he deems necessary. Manny: A smooth talking guy with something to hide. Always cautious around authority, he knows what to say, and how to get out of sticky situations. However, with the dead body of his girlfriend in the trunk, will he be able to get out of this situation?
