Anything Goes : Art imitating life by Joanne O'Kennedy

In my second film with Josh DeVeau I play an older woman who is friends with a very young woman. In my first film with Josh I played a mother whose adult children believe she's in the beginning stages of Alzheimers Disease. In both films, my real life experiences very closely matched those of my character (it was my mother who was in the advanced stages of Alzheimers and in reality I do share a friendship with a woman in her twenties). Have other actors had this "art imitating life" experience(s)?
