Introduce Yourself : A Hearty Hello to Stage 32 and all of its participants by Geoffrey Gilbert

My name is Geoffrey Gilbert and I am an Actor making my way in Hollywood. I am also a SAG Signatory Producer and have written, produced and directed an episode of a Web Series that will be posted on YouTube in the next couple of weeks. I have a second web series that I have written episode one of and will also be producing, casting and filling the role of Assistant Director. After spending 30+ years in Corporate America, I walked away from a six figure salary and seven figure retirement to finally go do what I really want to do. Act. I have been in training since I arrived and have begun booking commercials, web series (4), print and voice over work and a supporting role in a Feature Film. With 30+ years in corporate america I bring with me a strong knowledge base and understanding of business. I work at my new career 10-12 hours a day, six and sometimes seven days a week. As mentioned, I am continuously training with professional acting coaches and when I'm not on set or at auditions, I am seeking auditions and practicing in front of my camera. Although I feel that I am highly versatile, I have definitely "Branded" myself as well and get most of my acting (non-commercial) jobs based on that branding. My goal is to become one of the 3% of actors who are working on a regular basis. I have succeeded in everything that I have set out to do in my professional life. Over 30 years of planned accomplishments that took me to the top of my profession (Literally. After 14 months my last corporate position is still not filled and the search continues).
