Awesome story. Never give up on your dreams!
American realism. It's time for that!
wow. someone should make a movie about your life
When Italian post WWII cinema "discovered" realism as an inexhaustible source, it did so by turning cinematic minds and cameras to the economic and psychological complexities of real life for inspiration and stories. Films like "Bicycle Thief" and "Rome Open City" were not docs, but fiction designed inside and out of tragic circumstances. Jesu, your story is a good example of how reality is the most prolific creator of Whatifs. Then it's up to us to develop each premise fully and always in an entertaining way.
I would turn my story into a movie if I had a chance to or if someone wanted to.
Would you be willing to write it? Would you be willing to share you stories to allow a writer to develop a script from it? cheers
