Theatre Reviews from Perth, Australia

Perth is widely touted as the most remote city in the world. Recent coverage of the search for MH370 on international media has struggled to correctly place us on a map. Yet we have amazing talent here - acting, directing, and crew. Perth is also the home to the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) whose most famous alum is Hugh Jackman. Now, I'm a screenwriter so I'm not involved in theatre per se other than to say I have a lot of acting friends who tread the boards. I like to go along and support their stage endeavours but lately I've been seeing more and more theatre. In exchange for being lavishly entertained I now write reviews which you can find here: http://perththeatrereviews.blogspot.com.au/ You may not be able to find us on a map, you may know none of the names of the people involved in these productions but trust me, the next Hugh Jackman is out there waiting to be discovered. Hope you enjoy the reviews.
