Has anyone ever used iPad and iMovie to shoot and edit video projects? If so, what has your experience been like? Pros/cons. I would greatly appreciate your input.

I used to, honestly iMovie isn't a very good program to work with. There isn't much freedom in iMovie, but it's a good free starter program!
Thanks Aze. Yes, I will lean toward Final Cut Pro. Just have to learn how to use it.

FCPX is just a very good start. I switched from FCP7 to FCPX and no big problems. But if you want to learn more about it, check out RippleTraining.com. They have great tutorials and very good lessons.
