Just dropping by for a brief 'hello

I can't visit long. It's Cincinnati's weekend for the 48 Hour Film Project and I'm on one of the teams. So. this is my hi/bye for now. All the best!

how did your 48 film turn out? what did you get, genre/prop/line? san francisco weekend is next weekend. i have really enjoyed gotten to watch so many great 48 hr films,

It turned out pretty good. We had Horror for our genre. Required items for our city: Character - Chris or Christina Stevens, retired athlete, Prop - a hat, Line - "You don't know what you're talking about." (or "You do not know what you are talking about.") We can now publish the link to the completed short (the screening was this past Sunday), so here it is if you are interested: http://vimeo.com/95758652

interesting idea. very creepy feel and opening. kinda like a stockholm edge to it. when she they are having drinks on the couch I saw a quick red frame. do you know if that was on purpose? for the scary feel? i am just curious. ours is this weekend. the group that wants to work with me got drama. The prop is a wallet, the character is Ashley Mahoney, tour guide, and the line of dialogue is "What can I say, it's the best?" they sent me a idea on what they want to do but to me it didnt make sense on the approriate genre. they want a woman to kill another just because woman #2 is marrying woman #1 ex.

I think the red frame was for effect. Interestingly my scene, and the news report voiceover at the bar, was shot late Saturday night. I had a 9PM call time, my latest call for a 48HFP. Last weekend, we shot a 3-day contest entry for our Mid Ohio Filmmakers Association. Unlike 48HFP, we all had the same genre, comedy, and of course, an extra day to get it done.
