My name is Mark Burnham. I've been here for a couple of months on S32. I am an actor/producer living in LA, pursuing my filmmaking and acting career. I moved here to train (acting/theatre school) 30 years ago and I've been career tracking since then. I've had films, as an actor in Sundance 2012 & 2013, Cannes Directors Fortnight 2013, Sitges, Deauville, Locarno and other comparable level market/fests. Two films by Quentin Dupieux can currently be seen on Netflix USA, WRONG & WRONG COPS. Another film, HIDDEN IN THE WOODS by Chillean dir. Patricio Valladares is in the sales phase at Cannes right now with @WTFilm_Sales I am interested in networking and serious(?) discussions regarding, training, production, auditioning (I LOVE to audition), craft (dept) development, tech, and others stuffs (my French friends will understand this). I'm fairly new to Stage 32. I'm inviting Stage 32 members who live in or near Phoenix, AZ to a most unique author appearance at The Trunk Space, 1506 Grand Avenue in Phoenix, the evening of May 22, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Author of 12 books and one documentary, I will be publicly revealing for the first time a series of facts about one of Depression-Era America's two most infamous murder trials, that of Winnie Ruth Judd. Her 1932 murder trial in Phoenix was one of the two "Trials of the Century," the other being the Lindbergh baby murder trial. The print edition debuts May 22 for Winnie Ruth Judd: The Trunk Murders The Classic Edition. I co-wrote under the name J. Dwight Dobkins the first book ever published about Mrs. Judd and the "Trunk Murders", published as Winnie Ruth Judd: The Trunk Murders by Grosset & Dunlap in 1973, nominated for Crime Book of the Year (won that year by The Boston Strangler). I will be signing the Judd book; also, My boss was the BTK killer, and Machine-Gun Man. Also, The Peach Tree Limb, telling what it was like as a boy in 1940's and early 1950's California with a con-artist dad who served six prison terms sandwiched around five marriages.
