Acting : True Stories: Moved to the big city to take a shot in acting by Cecille M. Gultiano

I hear a lot of success stories of famous actors (Kirsten Wiig, Sandra Bullock) that left their hometowns alone to take a shot in acting even though it seems impossible and with little money. Do you have one? Please share me your stories as I may do the same. What I am really saying is give me some advice. Thanks. People from the Philippines will be most welcomed, since I live in the same countr :-D
