Screenplay Synopsis: A small-town Municipal Court Judge is swept up in a wave of death and destruction surrounding a local nightclub, which affects both her professional and personal life. ‘The Other Side of the Grass’ is an intriguing take on the age-old drama of good vs. evil and examined from the perspective of our current legal, medical, and political systems. The story proves relevant in a day and age pummeled by turmoil. On a daily basis, the judge struggles with the ever-growing abyss of justice and morality in the fictional town of Bethany Falls, New York. As the human race, this is our tale of right vs. wrong, unexplained acts of evil, our complex role in modern day society, and the moral dilemmas that we all face on a continual basis.
