Hi all, I'm putting together an album of original "sixties style" instrumental music that I will eventually commit to library (Getty images probably) but for now I just want to know if any producer/directors out there would have any use for this music genre on any of their film projects. I don't have any of these tracks uploaded onto my site as yet so just let me know and I'll email you short mp3 versions and let the music describe itself but I would say, the styles are a cross between Burt Bacharach and erm...."The Prisoner" (The sixties cult series) . Ive done 5 tracks so far and still working on track 6. Anyway, hope to hear from some of you soon. Best Tony
Tony.. curious if you stretch into more popular genres rather than Burt Bacharach . In other words do you write anything that might come across as more rock, R&B, Stax, Motown or folk rock?
Hi Jonathan, I do indeed stretch into many other different genres, Im just going through a "sixties" phase at the moment. Writing for TV drama, I get asked to do all sorts of music from rap to Latin American congo!! I can send you some mp3 rock track samples if you like but in the meantime Check out my site: www.tonyflynn.co.uk Best Tony
Hi Alle, I really think it was the golden era of "popular music" , give us your email, I'll send a couple of tracks if you like. mine's filmscore@yahoo.co.uk Best Tony
