I was able to round enough funds to shoot the first episode. 22 minutes. 8 days of shooting. Cost of $4,000. (music and all). Not bad. Now I am taking it to TV festivals and see if I get any bites. Wish me luck!! (video posted below) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g_SIW21rZIs

Love the video game type graphics, and I laughed out loud with the "writers who want to put 'written by' in the credits" line. Wishing you luck with this!

Aw thanks Julie. Yeah, I thought it might be a good idea to make fun of ourselves (and half the writers out there) in the first 5 minutes. Just to let everyone know, we know they know.....we know.

Hey James, loved the intro, quite the collection of miniatures, must have been lots of fun to shoot. All the best man.

I liked it. you can see all $4,000 on the screen (;^) The dialog was great. Only thing that pulled me out of the "reality" was the perfectly pink skin on the zombie's hand as it reached up through the earth.

Yeah, the miniatures were a fun idea. A way to show a bunch of crazy monster for $80. And yeah, that hand is covered in "stage make up dirt" but the camera didn't pick it up at all.

Thanks Richard. It was very much by the seat of our pants. BUT, I was able to plan a ton of it out in pre-production. And I had a great team working with me. Makes all the difference.

A great team of "all in" creatives can make anything happen.

Yeah, if I had the money I would hire those guys to do any project that my silly mind could come up with.
