I'm new here to Stage 32 and just wanted to pop by and say a quick hello. I am moving to LA at the end of July (it's getting here so fast now!) in order to pursue my ultimate passion, writing for television. I came up in the world of live theatre in the Orlando area and credit my decade plus as a professional stage manager, actor, technician, and designer with teaching me how to tell a story well and how to reach an audience. I'm positively beside myself over making the transition and can't wait to see how it unfolds for me. I only know a couple of people who live out there right now, so I'd really love to make connections early and often. Cheers!

LA can't wait to have you Kent! We had a great success this last year when one of our Stage 32 Happy Writers (Michael Madden), worked with Joey on the Happy Writers offerings (pitches, contest, etc.) and he wound up signing with Benderspink and ICM and became a staff writer on ABC's Blackbox! He picked up from NY and moved to LA in a matter of 2 weeks after her pitched to Benderspink. Crazy! If you really want to write for TV, make sure you spend some time in Happy Writers section of Stage 32 -- it's your key to the "next step."
