Just completed post-production work on this wonderful web series I have been working on for the past two years as an [uncredited] showrunner and writer! It's all about first-time filmmakers trying to complete their projects and failing miserably. Season One: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLX_LOXHtX3DrtAK2lKJzbyrRBi1Z1j411 Season Two: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLX_LOXHtX3Dofx16xCiEv1TfNiuAIRQak B-Roll is a comedy web series about the highs, lows, and blunders surrounding student filmmaking. It centers on a group of college-age filmmakers who attempt to create short films and fail miserably (often because they let their egos get in the way). The first season is mockumentary (The Office) in tone, while the second season has more of a Glee vibe. We wanted to create a story for student filmmakers, by student filmmakers, that satirized the world we often experience as amateurs making movies on our own. The result was often a hilarious fun house mirror version of our actual sets, but at the heart of the production was this constant reminder of the camaraderie behind filmmaking. Much like Ingrid, Chris, and their crew (Joanne, James, Samantha, Elliot, Mike, Joe, Gabrielle), B-Roll is a reminder that film is never made alone, and that it's never perfect. The show was also cast as gender and race blind, as we chose our cast based on their personalities and connection to their characters. The result is a diverse cast with who we'd like to to think gave an honest performance. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/brollwebseries
