My writing partner and I use two different script writing software programs (Final Draft and Celtx), making it difficult for both of us to work on our script. Does anyone have any suggestions on how we can exchange our script back and forth without the tedious reformatting that has to take place between each draft as we work? Thanks for any advice you may have :-)

Have you tried WriterDuet? https://writerduet.com/ Not tried it ourselves but it's supposed to be good.

Elaine, I believe if you subscribe to the online version of Celtx this will give you the option to at least export your Celtx files in fdx. Maybe it will allow you import fdx too. Also, if your co-writer was willing to adopt Celtx, you could work on the same document stored online that way too.
Thanks! I'll update this post with how it works out.

Update: we tried CJ's suggestion first and transporting the script from FD to Celtx worked beautifully (but w/o the scene numbers, though). However, I see that it won't work in the reverse. Of course I only like working in FD and don't want to give that up. Anyway, that helped for now… :-)

Update: Writerduet.com was the ticket! Uploade/download is a breeze and if we choose to work inside the site, it works beautifully too! Thanks you guys :-)
