Introduce Yourself : Greetings Fellow Earthlings + Artisans! by Carolyn McDonald

I'm Carolyn McDonald, an award-winning producer, writer & director presently living in Nashville, TN. For many years as was a studio & production company "suit". Then became a producer as Danny Glover's partner at Carrie Productions in the 90s. From there went on to co-write, exec produce & direct my own short PNOK featuring Glover, Elle Fanning, Robert Ri'chard, Irma P. Hall & Tina Lifford. For the last 7 years, I've been living in Nashville doing a lot of community projects working with youth teaching them filmmaking etc., directing documentaries, and writing a lot of material of all formats & genres. After a refreshing & educational sabbatical, watching the film, TV, media industry mushroom into a potpourri for all creatives, I'm 'jumping back in the big game' with my first feature, a dramedy called "Live from BNA". Being in Nashville, of course, it's music driven. And I'm about another rewrite & a half from going out to team, cast + $$$. Stage 32 is a great place to network and meet new people from around the world. I want to reach out more, but have been so busy "doing the thing". I really want to correspond more. I love to travel. I've been to London, Berlin, Munich & Paris. Lived in Paris for 3 months after visiting 3 times. Can't wait to go back. Really want to go to Barcellona, Spain, and Rome & Venice, Italy. Will hopefully get my muscle & nerve up enough to walk the Compostela de Santiago. I wish everyone on Stage 32 & beyond the best of luck & miracles with their project. The world needs original stories and voices, to expand our emotional blueprint, and creative legacy for generations to come. Peace & blessings!
