Hi Everyone: I wasn't sure where to post this, so I posted it in "Anything Goes" and now here as well: I have written a sci-fi screenplay that I've been told would also make a great graphic novel. So I'm looking for graphic novel artists and writers for this spec project. The basic visual style and tone is Blade Runner-esque. Here's the logline: JANE 471: As a galactic war rages in 2095, a burnt out bounty hunter must capture the leader of the resistance -- a woman -- but she surrenders, giving up her freedom for a chance at peace, and as he battles other bounty hunters to bring her in alive, he begins to fall for her. This piece has some great characters, amazing worlds and action sequences, which I think you'll see from page one. And of course the bottom line is the story, which aims to be mainstream but with some bite and depth. If you want to take a look at the screenplay to see if it grabs your interest, please let me know and I'll get you the PDF. Melanie Henderson
Hi Joseph -- I've emailed you the script. Thanks for having a read!
Hi, I'm a loser for sci fi anything and I'd be so keen on working on this. It sounds very interesting, send me a message and let's take it from there (that's if you're still keen).
Be aware hiring an artist isn't an inexpensive option. I also tried to go that route. I couldn't justify the cost. A work-around is, if you have skills in 3D modeler programs you can essentially create your comic in that fashion.
thanks very much for that suggestion!
