I'm completely new to the industry. I'm working on two comedy TV series. For Series A, there are a few 10-minute scripts that were written for pitches, and a "pitch" (3-5 minute synopsis of the series). I'm now working on the pilot episode script and logline. For Series B, I have a logline and am working on the pilot episode script. So is a pitch a logline + pilot episode script? Is it a filmed 10 minute short "episode" of the show? Any comments help. Thanks in advanced!
Thanks for the notes, Joey! I will definitely implement those. So last question...a pitch would consist of a pilot episode script and a treatment?
I think you are missing the point of a pitch. You may need a script to back up what you are saying but you have to talk in a pitch and Joey teaches this stuff. But I'm thinking what you are trying to come up with at this point is an elevator pitch. Basically what would you say to an executive on an elevator and you know they are getting off on the 10th floor?

Interesting question. I've never done a TV pitch before, Chez please let us know when you will be pitching and how it goes. All the best to you in this endeavor.
Thank you very much for your help and insight! I'll definitely keep you all posted. Thanks again!
