I'd really like to see a group/section developed for gay film producers and everyone involved with the process in taking the script to the screen. It's like hacking through a swamp to get anywhere when you have gay people as your main characters. Hollywood would collapse without the hundreds of gay men in power there, but you'd never know it as an Indie. I think we need a serious hand up from some good talented people and then pay it forward when we can! Thanks!

This is a suggestion for Richard and his team. great idea!
I agree Andrew, but not sure they'd be willing to take it on. Fear is widespread and is preventing good movies from being made. I was thirty days out from shooting, when our lead quit on us and took his screen trained dog with him. The dog was also essential to the film. When that happened, our investors pulled out and the project collapsed costing a lot of people temporary jobs, and the producer and myself cash.
By the way Andrew, the entire budget for this movie was under $40K.
If you don't ask you don't get get. Besides more and more the world is accepting. Still a long road but just a matter of educating the blinded.
