Introduce Yourself : Acting Coach, Director, Executive producer of American Performance Alliance by Ryan O'Harris

So I guess I will introduce myself. I have been an acting coach for the last 30 years, director, producer and I am currently the Executive Director of the American Performance Alliance in Southern California. Our goals are to help actors succeed with out all the games and high costs. We never charge an actor for anything and we offer a lot. We currently host a monthly free acting showcase and we award $600 cash to the actor with the best performance that night. We offer film and stage producers free access to our studio, cash grants to help pay actors, use of professional film equipment, and much more if they cast actors from the Showcase. Our goal is to turn the showcase industry on it's head and instead of an actor paying to perform for...well you never know who will really be there we pay the actor for performing well and never charge them for anything. Our producer plan creates a significant incentive for directors to actually come to the showcase with the real intent of casting the actors. This is the center of what we do but we also offer free professional acting classes, free headshot sessions, and slate sessions as well as many other free services to our actor members.
