Your Stage : Looking for a Foundation / Fondazione cercasi by Stefano Conte

We have an ongoing important social project called Ecologico International Film Festival. The aim of the project is to support and promote "best practices" of civil cohabitation, respect for the environment and for the Other and to promote the development of a collective conscience that brings to the center of humanity as an individual value. We want also to “Empower children and young people from all social, economic and ethnic groups through the arts”. The Ecologico International Film Festival promote, through cinema, a reflection on contemporary society. It does this through film screenings, meetings with prominent personalities of culture and debates with the public. We do not suggest solutions, we simply stimulate change through individual awareness. We believe that the cultural development contributes to the creation of new opportunities for social and economic development for the people and the land, respectful of the rights of man and the environment. The Festival is at its seventh edition and we have reached the bitter awareness that the local government does not support anything in the absence of any compensation. This way of governing is clearly not good for us and we would like a foundation to help us to continue our initiative. We are available to meet anyone who is seriously interested in promoting this idea of "humanity and world." ____________________________________________________________________________________________ Abbiamo in corso un importante progetto sociale denominato Ecologico International Film Festival. La finalità del progetto è quello di sostenere e promuovere le "buone prassi" di convivenza civile, di rispetto dell'ambiente e dell'Altro e favorire lo sviluppo di una coscienza collettiva che porti al centro l'umanità come valore individuale. L’Ecologico International Film Festival (EIFF) promuove, attraverso il cinema, una riflessione sulla società contemporanea. Lo fa attraverso le proiezioni dei film, gli incontri con autorevoli personaggi della cultura e con i dibattiti con il pubblico. Non suggerisce soluzioni, si limita a stimolare un cambiamento attraverso la presa di coscienza individuale. Siamo convinti che la crescita culturale contribuisca alla creazione di nuove opportunità di sviluppo economico e sociale sostenibile per la popolazione e il territorio, rispettoso dei diritti degli uomini e dell’ambiente. Siamo alla settima edizione e siamo giunti alla amara consapevolezza che le amministrazioni pubbliche non sostengono nulla in assenza di una qualsiasi contropartita. A noi, chiaramente, questo non sta bene e vorremmo che una Fondazione ci aiutasse a portare avanti la nostra iniziativa. Siamo disponibili a incontrare chiunque sia seriamente interessato a promuovere questa idea di "umanità e di mondo".
