I am using FCPX, and other than the pretty good project bundles that allow you to move project easily, I hate it. I hate how restrictive it is. Most of my editing is online, and I would prefer to be using Colour and STP, but my offline editor refuses to go back to using 7, which currently means I am limited to the rather poor sound and colour controls in FCPX. I have been looking at a range of plugins to send from X to the other programs, or to send from X back to 7, to the other programs from there. Just wondering if anyone uses a plugin to do this and which is the best.

Hi Louise, I did some diggin for ya... Project X₂7 is a $50 XML translator that takes your FCP X XML file and translates it into something that FCP 7 can understand. Once in FCP 7, you can then take your project to a number of different apps like Apple and adobe software. Project X₂7 looks like a pretty solid plugin that appears to do what is asked of it.
