I'm curating a Roku channel that debuts Nov 21! I'm actively seeking content for the Holiday Channel and I want to see YOUR film. video, podcast, web series... Holiday Channel, LLC is a new media company created to celebrate the myriad of holidays, from the obvious to the obscure, all year-round. This new home entertainment network will provide a fully-integrated viewing and second screen experience on web and social media sites. Holiday Channel will stream content on Roku, 24/7 on demand, starting November 21, 2014, which coincides with National Television Day and National Hello Day. Other over-the-top (OTT) and Video on Demand (VoD) content platforms will follow. We invite submissions of feature length and short films plus documentaries, webisodes, music videos, art films and any multi-media content that fits the theme of the day. We will consider any quality work. Our programming starts with traditional holidays and observances, like: • Thanksgiving • Native American Indian Heritage Month (November) • Christmas • Chanukah • Kwanzaa • New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day Programming will expand to include International observances and more unique holidays and celebrations.
