Read a Good Book Lately? : Self Management for Actors by Bonnie Gillespie by Rod Simmons

I had read the 3rd edition, but there is a newer 4th edition that just came out. I would recommend this book to any newbie actor trying to get ahead in the competitive field of acting in a major market. Bonnie is a casting director. The tips she provides in this book are invaluable. In school, we learn to act, but the business aspect of the industry we are left to struggle with.
