Financing / Crowdfunding : News Reporter fundraising by Santino Pani

Hi people, I am a freelance news reporter working in London areas. I wish to have some indications on getting funds for equipments and relative costs for a long term business. Actually I am also a student, going to Media at University of Westminster (Contemporary Media Practices) , so this would be a part time business. Do you suggest any organization which can help on that ? I have seen something at "Art Council England", which offers a £15,000 for a quick fund (in circa 6 weeks application), but they offer that for a group of people, and for a specific project, such as a movie, not for a long term project, as I understood. Do you have any tips on getting a fund with my needs ? I would start alone, but working occasionally with other friends, independently. On my equipments I need especially a JVC GY-HM650PRO camcorder, or higher, (which costs almost £4000) and a Nikon D800 (or similar) with accessories, such as flashes, batteries, microphones, tripods etc, and a wireless dongle for commercial use (hi speed broadband, unlimited data), a Apple MAC as laptop, and editing software's etc .
