I'm curious to know what methods any production companies out there use to attract new customers. Perhaps is there a particular website that produces legitimate clients on a recurring basis? Do you cold call/email businesses? Perhaps network marketing sites like this? I don't expect anyone in my service area to respond necessarily, but any insight from companies outside of Texas would be appreciated.

A website with quality sample work and a sales team... that's what works for most. There are websites that allow you to bid on projects ... vidaao.com is just one ... when you mention the word "recurring" .. that's never easy.. it's hard enough to get them, let alone retain them. See also, salesmen / account manager.
