Introduce Yourself : Screenwriter, Director, Author, Speaker by Valerie Alexander

What a wonderful community! So happy to be here. I've been a working screenwriter for a little over a decade now. Worked with some fine people whose names would impress and who actually paid me real money to do this job, however, none of those projects made it to a screen…yet. That's the life one gets used to. To counter it, I make my own stuff. A lot. Below is a sample of something I wrote and directed that I hope you enjoy (it's only 30 seconds, so don't worry, hit play). In the screenwriting downtime, I wrote the book "Happiness as a Second Language" and soon, the next book in the series, "Success as a Second Language," will come out. Before that, however, I'll be publishing "How Women Can Succeed in the Workplace (Despite Having "Female Brains")" which is a book based on a talk I give all around the country. Look for that in the next week or so.
