This is so great, Mario. I am a seasoned writer (16 published books), wanting to break into screen writing. Please tell me how I can get my screenplay to you.

Mario Leone

We can discuss it. You may not have to send it to me. Send me at message we will exchange emails. Then go from there.

Joseph Andrew Killeen

I'd love your feedback on my first finished script and any advice you may have on marketing it.

I am represented with an agent. I also have an entertainment lawyer available eight hours a day! He's practically on retainer. You are aware of how difficult it can be to get an agent? I also enjoy helping people. Alle, if you want to help people you can too. You can contribute as well. I put my ego aside and do my best to assist. I am not a consultant. We are either part of the problem or part of the solution. But, the question is, what is your contribution to the big picture? The person who knows everything has nothing else left to learn. I don't know everything. I do have the confidence to assist others. I do enjoy helping people who may not be able to afford the help. I could also help people find an agent. It is easy to question. It is difficult to get results. I respect your ideas Alle. I just want to help out. :-) Mario

I'm correcting a post I made last night where I was wanting an understanding of an ELEMENT I noticed in a reply made to Mario. The post that I deleted from last night probably didn't convey well after reading it with fresh eyes today. I did not intend my post to be in defense of or in agreement to a reply. My post was supposed to convey a simple noticing of the all capitol ELEMENT that I had seen in a post which made me think about how I've also seen it in a lot of screenplays lately. I was wondering if there is opinion out there about using this element in screenplays and if the element is liked, seems useful, necessary or if the element is disliked, slows down flow, seems unnescessary. Sometimes when I see the all capitol ELEMENT within action or dialogue while I'm reading a screenplay it slows down the flow, makes me as the reader feel like the writer may think I'm a dummy reader really wanting me to pay attention to the word. I think this all capitol element anywhere other than headings is unnescessary to get the inherent meaning or intent across. I also wonder if this is a trend or perhaps a marginally used style or a style that has always been there in the world of screenwriting. Perhaps many writer's like using this element? My dislike of the all capitol ELEMENT is just my intuitive opinion on it and wondering if any fellow writers out there had thoughts or opinions about the subject? Alle you are entitled to your view and valid questions but I think Mario may indeed be trying to do a good thing here. Capitolizing TALENT could be very misinterpreted to a reader which is also why I don't like it within action or dialogue of a screenplay come to think of it. I'm seeking understanding of something I really don't know much about but at least I have my own intuitive opinion of it.

I am always looking for ways to get better, so tell me how we do this. Thanks for the offer.

I'd like to get another set of eyes on my latest screenplay - Obliterathon. A comedy about 5 guys raising money to bury a dead friend by running a marathon drunk.

Mario Leone

Any takers?
