I think screen writers have much more opportunities to write for other legit programming then ever before. Non mainstream, online networks and niche audiences are definitely an exciting development of the high speed world wide web. There is even room to write for some very popular podcasts and web series. I think that between the low cost for entry level productions and the ultra high quality of desktop production, free HQ distribution via YouTube, Vimeo and more, mean; we all have few excuses for not getting our work out there for the public to see.
