Although it's a long shot, I'll see if I can get there after our movie is shown. I just have to comment though on the name of the pub. I haven't been there but Fado is a Portuguese music. There must be some kind of Irish connection that I'm not aware of.

It would be great to see you, Joseph. :) About "Fado"...Well, we are missing the acute accent over the "o" in our post. I'm not exactly sure how to do that here on Stage 32. But, with the accent, the Irish, or rather, Gaelic version is pronounced "f'doe" and means "long ago." :)

Here are driving directions and parking information from the Fadó web site: DRIVING DIRECTIONS: Fadó is located in the heart of downtown Seattle at the corner of 1st Avenue and Columbia -- 801 1st Ave. The Pub is easily accessed off of I-5 and is just a short walk from Pioneer Square and Pike’s Place Market. Take exit towards James St. if coming from I5 North or South. Keep in mind the waterfront is a mess right now with construction. PARKING: There is ample street parking and in parking lots behind the Pub on Western Avenue. There is also a 24 hour parking garage on the corner, caddy corned from the pub that cost $6 flat rate after 4pm. Looking forward to seeing all of you tonight!

Hey guys, I'm sorry to say that I am unable to organize a Seattle Meetup for November and December. My schedule is crazy busy right now, at least until after the New Year. But please don't let my schedule stop you. ;) If someone else would like to take the reins, please do. Post here to give the "regulars" a heads up, then lead them to a new post in the 'meetups' section in the lounge. ...Fado was a great location; two parking garages next door; great drinks; long happy hour; great atmosphere. You really can't go wrong. :) Again, my sincere apologies and best wishes to all of you!
