KRONOS
By Micke Askernäs

GENRE: Drama
LOGLINE: When Sarah discovers messages from her future self, she must decide whether to save her best friend or ensure his death triggers the exposure of a deadly conspiracy.

SYNOPSIS:

Sarah Mitchell wakes up with a hangover she can't explain and a memory she can't trust. Throughout the day, she encounters cryptic messages in her own handwriting and CCTV footage of herself in places she hasn't been - yet. But nothing prepares her for encountering her best friend Mike, whom she vividly remembers watching die in a brutal traffic accident just hours ago. As reality starts to fragment around them, Sarah and Mike discover they're experiencing time non-linearly within a 100-hour window - an effect of KRONOS, an experimental drug they haven't taken yet. They're being hunted by shadowy government operatives, and evidence of a massive conspiracy is scattered across their fractured timeline. Desperate to expose the truth about KRONOS and prevent Mike's death, Sarah follows the trail of clues she left for herself. But each attempt to change their fate only cements it further. They gradually realize the terrible truth: they must inject themselves with KRONOS to expose its existence, knowing it will create the very timeline they're trying to escape - one where Mike's death becomes the key to exposing everything. In a race against time that's already happened, Sarah faces an impossible choice: try to save her friend, or preserve the timeline that ensures the truth comes out. As past, present, and future collapse into each other, she discovers that sometimes the only way forward is to accept what cannot be changed. KRONOS is a mind-bending psychological thriller about fate, choice, and the price of truth, where every attempt to change the future has already become the past.
