Eight stranger from different background needs to collaborate and find a way out from a slowly water-filling underground elevator stops with no means of contacting the outside.
SYNOPSIS:
In "Lift/Off," a suspenseful thriller set against the backdrop of a catastrophic event, the lives of eight strangers intersect in the most unexpected and claustrophobic setting - an elevator. Bound for a subterranean subway station, their descent comes to a jarring halt amidst a citywide power outage, an unforeseen consequence of a distant, sinister terrorist attack. Cut off from the outside world and with no hope of immediate rescue, these individuals from diverse walks of life are thrust into an intense situation that strips away their societal masks, revealing their true selves. As hours stretch into days, the elevator becomes a pressure cooker of heightened emotions and fraying nerves, laying bare the vulnerabilities and strengths of each character. Initial civility and cooperation gradually dissolve into conflict and desperation, painting a vivid portrait of human nature under duress.
The plot takes a darker turn when a desperate attempt to escape through the elevator shaft results in a horrific and shocking tragedy, altering the group dynamics irrevocably. This crisis is further compounded when they discover that their entrapment is not merely due to mechanical failure, but also because the subway station below is slowly being submerged underwater. Faced with this life-threatening scenario, the group is forced to confront not only the immediate physical dangers but also the complex moral dilemmas that arise in their fight for survival. Throughout this harrowing ordeal, "Lift/Off" explores the essence of humanity, delving into how extreme stress and fear can peel away societal facades, challenging the core of human identity and the instinct for survival.

Micke Askernäs I think your synopsis is excellent, and packed with potential for psychological drama. Could the logline do with a little more work?
Would something like this put it more succinctly?
Following a terrorist subway attack, eight strangers contend with each other to escape while trapped inside an elevator filling with water.

Keep up the good work Micke Askernäs . You have some great ideas. I doubt that loglines are easy for anybody. Like making a good loaf of bread, it's a matter of kneading the dough, then letting it rise, and kneading again. If the dough isn't kneaded enough, the bread comes out like a brick! Ha!
