When a mysterious stranger with a harmonica arrives in a small town, a former prostitute, a bandit, and a ruthless hired gun are drawn into a deadly showdown over the ownership of a valuable piece of land in the Old West.
SYNOPSIS:
In the late 1800s, in southern Utah, BRETT announces to his kids that they are moving. They head west in their wagon, and Brett reveals that he knows about a hidden underground water supply that will make them rich.
Meanwhile, FRANK and his men confront YUTU and NOCONA and threaten them, but Nocona offers to show him where water is located if Frank agrees to spare them.
Brett and his family arrive at their new farmhouse. TWO COWBOYS witness Brett's arrival and inform Frank, who visits the landowners.
Frank wants to buy Brett's land, but Brett refuses. Frank and his men shoot Brett and his son MATT, and capture AMY.
Meanwhile, LITTLE DOVE is attacked by Frank's men and left in the desert. SHERIFF BUCKNER and his deputies are alerted to the situation and head to the train station to confront them.
A group of cowboys wait at the train depot for a stranger to arrive. When several deputies confront them, they engage in a shootout and defeat them. Later, a lone man, HARMONICA, confronts the cowboys and kills them in a shootout.
Simultaneously, a criminal named CHEYENNE is being escorted in a prison wagon when shots are fired. In a different location, a woman named JILL arrives at a train station and looks for her husband.
Jill meets TIVA at the train station and he offers her a ride. They arrive at a run-down cantina where they are refused service due to Tiva being Native American. Jill stands up for Tiva and eventually they are served.
Cheyenne enters the cantina in handcuffs and confronts a man named HARMONICA. A tense moment ensues but is diffused when Harmonica shoots two men who are reaching for their guns.
Jill goes to Brett’s farm and discovers the bodies of Brett and his son. DEPUTY SIMMS informs Jill that they suspect Cheyenne.
Meanwhile, Frank and MORTON discuss their plans to take the McBain land. Harmonica and Jill encounter danger at the farmhouse but are saved by Harmonica's shooting skills.
Frank's men attack the farmhouse, but Jill escapes and meets Harmonica at a hotel. A rough-looking man insults Jill and MAI-LIN, leading to a confrontation between him and Harmonica. Harmonica kills several of Frank's men.
In a showdown, Harmonica and his allies defeat Frank's men. Jill is protected by Cheyenne's men, and Harmonica confronts Frank. Frank tortures Harmonica, but he mocks his attempts and taunts Frank about his impending failure.
Cheyenne saves Harmonica and kills Frank's men inside the train. The train starts moving, and Harmonica and Cheyenne continue their plan to defeat Frank.
Jill, Amy, Deputy Simms, Cheyenne, and Harmonica discuss the reasons behind Frank's interest in the land, and Amy reveals that her father told her the land has water, which the railroad needs. Harmonica is captured and forced to work on the railroad. Cheyenne eventually rescues Harmonica.
Frank and Harmonica confront each other, circling and watching each other's movements carefully. They each take a stance and prepare for a showdown.
Harmonica shoots and kills Frank after a long stare-down, then Cheyenne and Harmonica depart. Jill and Amy decide to continue their work together and make Brett proud.
