SYNOPSIS:
When the Jensons’ moved into their new home, they had no idea a murder took place in their basement. The events leading up to November 10th, 1898, the “Wilmington Race Riot,“ were plotted with evil deception, fueled by hatred. With Carol being a white school teacher and Walker being a black carpenter, it wouldn’t be long before their secret. Years later, Walker must convince the living to hear his story. With hopes of reconnecting with his murdered love, Walker reflects back to the dreadful week of a Historical event, convincing a young boy to see if his long lost love has returned. Little does Walker know that Carol is doing the same, trying to convince Keith’s younger white sister Alison to hear her side of the story. It was a time of love, sacrifice, hatred, and prosperity, yet love endures all things; including death. It was the first time blacks and a local government were banished by force, the last time two lovers saw each other.
