SGT GALOVITCH, 32, puts maggio on detail in order to go out and find Macy and have his way with her, so Maggio skips out on detail to find Galovitch's truck, yet unbeknown to him, the SGT. is up in the hills raping Macy with the boys. He steals their whiskey and crashes the truck. He then finds a bench in Haleiwa where Prew would eventually run into him. Two trucks arrive one damaged. Maggio stays and Prew ducks out behind the bushes. Galovitch would admit to raping Macy, that provokes a swing and lands Angelo in the Stockade under the brutal hands of JUDSON, 42, who would later kill an inmate and become a real threat to Maggio's life, as well. Knowing the stakes, Prewitt kills Judson and is forced to hide out with Lorene. They make plans to go to Oregon, but early the next morning The Japanese Imperial Fleet would attack Pearl Harbor. The late word of amnesty by Warden would send him back to the barracks, but he is intercepted by Holmes who has him executed on the spot. Maggio is released on a Section 8 and notices Prew's coffin aligned with the soldiers of the December 7th attacks. Maggio gives his final salute to his loyal savior, as he exits the Gates and the Army forever.
