A spy and his mentor use an old legend to help them through the struggles of the Cold war and foil a plot to assassinate a world leader that would catapult the world into war.

SYNOPSIS:

It is Bavaria in the year of our lord nineteen sixty-nine the world is caught in a cold conflict, East Vs. West. KARL SCHMELLER, 6, and loving German mother, ANYA, 29, spend as much time together reading a romantic legend LOHENGRIN as they can for Anya is headed to the other side to compete in a biathlon in the East, yet what young Karl is unaware of is his mother moonlights as an runner for German intelligence helping defectors across to the West.
