Eight romantic stories are linked by a song that spans a century and fourteen thousand kilometers.
SYNOPSIS:
Hundreds of thousands of Spaniards have emigrated to Latin America throughout history, and hundreds of thousands of Latin Americans have emigrated to Spain. As a result, despite being several centuries old, an electrifying mix of cultures is constantly being born.
Eight Octaves is a hymn to this transoceanic journey: eight romantic stories linked by a song. The song, written in Jaén in 1920, travels across the American continent for a century before returning to Madrid in the present, full of diverse rhythms and genres, a living witness to our multiculturalism.
