SYNOPSIS:

The year is 2040, Mara Sellers had always felt different from everyone else, and now she knows why. She is a Coregazer - a human born with the ability to control and manipulate Plasma Energy. And with her enhanced abilities, she is sought out by Soulsun Energy a.k.a Speo Trium Labs which values Plasma Energy as an energy source, and the government wants them for war. When Mara was five she was forcibly taken from her home in Bruvesco by the Office of Special Projects (OSP) and taken to Speo Trium Labs where she is injected with the pure element Speotrium to increase her Plasma Energy. Speotrium is a substance discovered by Enriched Endogenics Mining in the 2020s in search of an unlimited energy source in the earth's core. They are also responsible for the creation of Speo Trium Labs, a research lab dedicated to furthering the development of Plasma Energy. Speotrium quickly spread across the world; for generations, they used the substance to power cities, cars, etc. But in the process, they developed energy-powered weapons and enhanced individuals "Coregazers."

A few years passed and Speo Trium Labs was destroyed. Mara, now 17, and a few survivors from the floor where the lab used to be, are transferred to a facility that is larger and more advanced. Dr. Michael Manno, one of the few survivors from the upper floors of the lab, is now working on a more durable version of Speo Trium Labs and is assigned to create a selection of "Slayers" born from first Gen Coregazers, who have shown immense control their powers and use them for military purposes. Mara finds out that her father was a first Gen Coregazer and escapes the facility in a desperate attempt to find him, only to be taken captive once again.

Mara finds herself in Ecdin City, which was previously a vibrant and thriving town. She manages to escape captivity and gets caught by the thugs who run Ecdin's underground trade market. Mara is being taken to the Black market, she thinks all hope is lost when she meets Mack a washed-up war veteran turned mercenary they quickly form a bond. He swears to protect her not realizing the danger they are in.

Now being hunted by Soulsun Energy, her only hope is to find her father and discover where the Power of Plasma energy comes from. To do so, she must go on a dangerous journey where she will face new challenges and unlikely friends in search of the truth about herself, her father, and her past.
