A suicidal teenager recovering from a recent attempt accepts an invitation to the popular kids’ weekend cabin trip, where she starts to believe that her horror screenplay is coming to life.

SYNOPSIS:

When loner and horror movie super-fan Frankie Fogarty returns to high school after a suicide attempt, her crush Audrey invites her on a weekend cabin trip with Audrey's popular friends, Jake, Rebecca, and Cameron. Soon after they arrive, the cabin (a high-tech mansion in the woods owned by Jake's wealthy scientist uncle, who Jake claims is working on a time machine) has its security mechanisms triggered and locks the kids inside, whereupon they start being killed one by one — and Frankie must reckon with her self-destructive urges, her feelings for Audrey, and the fact that the murders bear a striking resemblance to the horror screenplay she's been writing.
