HAVEN OF DANTE

After a brutal attack resulting in the annihilation of her family, a courageous young woman is compelled to prevent a secret society born from the nine circles of hell from enslaving humanity.
SYNOPSIS:
In 1306, Dante Alighieri traversed the nine circles of hell - part of a quest to ease his soul of the loss of his beloved Beatrice. The nine circles became incensed at the gall of him leaving their realm unscathed. In their ire, they formed, “The Aristocracy” – a syndicate responsible for all of the evil in the world with a presence in every level of society. Every few generations, a surge of evil makes it necessary for the “witness” to appoint a Dante heir to the mantle of stopping an insidious plot by the Aristocracy to enslave humanity. This time, they aim to do that by a tectonic device created by Haven’s father, Roberto Dante, head of Dante Tech. Unbeknownst to her, it is up to Haven to stop them. Using her newfound abilities, she must now battle the demons without as well as within.
Personal Connection: Many years ago, my wife was kidnapped and assaulted at gunpoint. She not only survived but thrived. This is a story of hope for those who have shared a similar experience.

UPDATE: I received my coverage notes from producer Scott Dow. The notes were amazing and I'm in the process of implementing them. But he also wants to continue the conversation so we've connected via email for continued dialogue. Very exciting!

When you mentioned good old Dante, I was hooked. The story of a secret society controlling the Nine Gates of Hell... As long as your characters are fleshed out and not clichés, this is going to be a wild ride.
On a side note, I'm sorry for what happened to your wife. It must've been quite the ordeal. :(
