SYNOPSIS:

In the late 1500's, in a quiet village in between France and Spain, three orphan boys - Ourson, Adam, and Vincent - are raised by a quirky old man named Penfant. Each boy excels in his own way: Adam with plants, Ourson as a hunter, and Vincent in his science and poetry, but their differences are what unite them. As they grow into their own ideas of men, their bond as brothers is tested in ways they never expected. The love of their father, the love of a woman, the love of one's self - in pursuit of these, they will risk both body and blood.
