LOGLINE:

When three friends get fired after working as adult-sized elves at Santa's North Pole Plantation in New Orleans, they meet a little person street musician claiming to be a real elf who just might be telling the truth.

SYNOPSIS:

After twelve years working as adult-sized elves at a third-rate New Orleans tourist attraction called Santa's North Pole Plantation, three friends are fired by their ethically challenged boss, Buck Sanders.

Out of work and facing financial disaster, Montgomery, Rye and Judy Lynn scramble to make ends meet, a quest that includes a humiliating visit in their elf uniforms to the local unemployment office. To their dismay, there aren't any help wanted ads looking for full-time elves.

Depressed with their dire predicament, the three out-of-work friends come across Elfis, a little person street performer in the French Quarter whose bluesy soul-searing vocals are a crowd pleasing delight.

The diminutive singer has the most amazing voice Montgomery, Rye and Judy Lynn have ever heard. Unfortunately, Elfis also appears to be out of his mind. How else to explain his delusional claim that he's a real elf who's been abandoned in New Orleans by none other than Santa Claus himself?

Against their wishes, Elfis infiltrates himself into their lives in every way imaginable. In spite of the fact Montgomery and his friends have never played a musical instrument, the ex-Santa's North Pole Plantation employees soon find themselves performing alongside Elfis for a growing number of enthusiastic fans whose wild appreciation for their music leads them to be featured on local television news programs.

Basking in the media spotlight, Elfis and his backup group, dubbed Santa's Little Helpers, comes to the attention of their former boss, Buck Sanders. Convinced there's more to Elfis than meets the eye, Sanders kidnaps Elfis so he can force the consummate blues artist to entertain at Santa's North Pole Plantation seven days a week.

In a rousing finish, Montgomery, Rye and Judy Lynn come to their new friend's rescue in a daring raid that puts Buck Sanders and his dilapidated amusement park permanently out of business.

In the end, with Elfis still claiming to be an elf, Santa unexpectedly arrives to take Elfis home. Not only that, but if they want to tag along, Santa informs Montgomery, Rye and Judy Lynn that they are more than welcome at the North Pole where they can be real elves, too.
