SYNOPSIS:

One of world’s oldest and most popular games spawns the cinematic march of the “Queen’s Pawn,” that little piece in front of the powerful queen, that if played right can someday become a queen him or herself. Chess expert announcers narrate the game of the century that all play, including animated chess pieces in a large chess stadium, everyday folks worldwide, and a parallel chess-like battle between the black kilt-clad Scots and white armor-donning English on a medieval battlefield. A humble Highlands youth must survive nosy parents, quirky monks and Viking attacks en route to love, success in battle and spiritual enlightenment to become Queen.
