After being turned down for yet another role, struggling actress Michaela, a young autistic woman, decides to write and direct her own short film... starring herself. Choosing her cast mates from among her friends, she works tirelessly to produce an indie hit for the upcoming film festival circuit. When the finished movie ends up looking like a bad YouTube skit, Michaela believes all hope is lost. Until the cameraman reveals that he has been rolling tape behind the scenes- discovering the story that was there the whole time. Working tirelessly he edits those candid moments into a heartfelt documentary the movie industry will never forget.
