Abandoned by his family for coming out as gay, a young boy finds solace and hope in a stranger's kindness, ultimately learning that true family is found in those who love and accept us for who we are.

SYNOPSIS:

In this poignant short film, we follow a young boy who takes a courageous step by coming out to his parents, only to be met with rejection and violence. Abandoned and alone, he finds himself sitting on a bench with one bag of clothes and clutching a a photograph of his family, the very people who have turned their backs on him. As he struggles to come to terms with his newfound isolation, a chance encounter with a stranger offers him a glimmer of hope. Despite his initial resistance, the girl's kindness and empathy break down his defences, and he begins to share his story. Over time, he finds solace in the girl's unconditional support and the love of his new friends, as he learns to define his own sense of family and belonging. This heart-warming tale is a testament to the power of kindness, love, and acceptance in the face of adversity.
