"YOU MIGHT REMEMBER ME: THE LIFE AND TIMES OF PHIL HARTMAN"

"YOU MIGHT REMEMBER ME: THE LIFE AND TIMES OF PHIL HARTMAN"
By Brian Mulhern

GENRE: Biography
LOGLINE:

Phil Hartman was "The Man of a Thousand Voices," who hid behind characters to an extent which made it difficult for anyone to know who he truly was. The only thing he didn't do well was relationships, and that eventually proved to be his ultimate downfall.

SYNOPSIS:

Phil Hartman was a true comedic legend, and Renaissance man. His talent knew no bounds. A middle child of eight, Phil was forever vying for attention -- which served as the foundation for what he would eventually accomplish as a performer. But it came at a cost, in relation to the blurred lines between who he was onstage, and off of it. The intimacy he shared with his audience was sorely lacking in his personal life. And that, more than anything, very well may have sealed his fate. Adapted from Mike Thomas's critically acclaimed 2014 biography, "You Might Remember Me..." serves as a love letter to the man from a collaborator, and friend, who just may have known Phil as well as anyone over the final six-years of his remarkably tragic journey.
