in my opinion, there is no theme for the movie in this logline. the hero can report to the police and do nothing. The described situation is certainly interesting, but I think you should change the logline. Because the logline declares that the hero only understands something. And what does the hero do?

Arthur Charpentier I thought about that. My original theme (if you buy into the 10 themes movies fall) is Love or specifically obsession. The email was purposely addressed to the wrong person but it was intentionally sent to the right person. Show I add something like -- ... "to the wrong person unknowingly sent by an obsessed admirer."

This is an example of the hero's actions, not your logline. The logline should not contain the word "understands", the hero must act.

Very intriguing! But it's only the hook and not so much the plot. How does the editor react to this call to adventure?
