Bolivian American Interpol agent, Wamani Ramos, must convince corrupt United Nation’s officials to save thousands of Bolivian farms from financial ruin, including her own family’s ranch near La Paz. Since these officials are not moved, Wamani must attempt a wholly unthinkable method to convince them.
SYNOPSIS:
Bolivian American Interpol agent, Wamani Ramos, must find a way to convince four corrupt United Nations officials to vote “yes” on an action that would allow an audit of Bolivian farm appropriations funding, most of which Bolivian government officials have been stealing and with which have been lining the pockets of the four United Nation’s officials. A vote to audit would hold the Bolivian government accountable and force them to dole out the funding fairly, thus saving thousands of farms from certain closer.
After failing to convince them through proper channels, Wamani must try something unprecedented and unthinkable. She discovers a world-wide organization of “prickers,” which consists of people who gain pleasure from stealthily pricking other people with needles. She discovers that prickers have their own secret world—a website, their own social media, an annual convention in Switzerland, which offers numerous pricker workshops and even awards annual pricking prizes. After consulting an accomplished pricker who she’s learned has been working with her at the Interpol office, she contemplates the pricker organization as part of her solution.
