A teen girl lies low from local authorities after the death of her father. Lonely, she lets a nomadic guest stay in her modest desert home. Companionship feels therapeutic until the guest's unstable psyche sparks a chaotic and town-wide game of cat-and-mouse that puts the girl at risk of losing her home and her mind.
