SYNOPSIS:

A guarded, high-powered luxury travel writer, trades her heels for hiking boots, to document the Therongla Pass. Like in Eat Pray Love, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery, learning to open her heart in unexpected ways.

After Michelle’s mother ended her second marriage, Michelle was startled that yet another man entered the picture so soon. At age 10 already, she confided to her friend Jim, that love is the first step towards heartbreak.

But Third Dad, as she initially called him, was different. He was adventurous, forcing Michelle to dream big, get out of her comfort zone, and chill out on being so serious. But three years later he suddenly left; adventure, apparently calling him elsewhere.

Unable to get the closure she needed, and her mother not wasting a second bringing Fourth Dad into the picture, Michelle grew cold believing that if you guard you heart, you can’t be hurt.

At 18, she jumped to a new city working her way up from receptionist to a dream career where connections and experiences are shared at arms length.

But after a shakeup in the travel industry, Michelle is sent to Nepal.

Adventure triggers abandonment, but her childhood friend, Jim, encourages her that this change could potentially be career defining, catapulting her to her ultimate goal of sitting on the board of the company. His real motivation however, is for the girl he fell in love with, at the delicate age of 10, to come alive again.

In Nepal, Michelle is beat up by the elements, culture shock and her inability to control things. Her guide, Tikka, shows her the meaning in connections and shared experiences.

As a result Michelle begins to change, inviting Jim in on her adventure, albeit virtually.

But when an unexpected traveler disrupts her progress, and Jim gets too close, Michelle self destructs.

With both professional and personal milestones at stake, is Michelle able to stand steadfast amongst her trials and summit the pass? Will she run away from love or towards it? "Nepal" is a heartfelt story of self-discovery and the value wholehearted living.

Your welcome! It reads well just watch your punctuation and conjunctions. Each star represents different grading for me. My professor hat.

Jeetendra Khatiwoda

Good story but an average synopsis. You are trying too many things in the story.
